Having dealt with Joanne and her father before her, we can say truly that ‘the apple did not fall far from the tree’. She was all that others have said. Sincere sympathies to her family. May she rest in peace.
I want to let the Sheehan family know how grateful I am to dear Joanne for all she did for me- by giving me the part time job back when my youngest started primary school and I was ready (but nervous) to get back to the workforce- having a dog called "Mervyn" and a daughter with the same name as Martina's daughter- Joanne took a chance on me saying it was fate! We had 6 wonderful years working together in which time I learned so much from Joanne. Joanne included my family & I at some amazing dinner parties/ drinks and get togethers at Mervyn and other fabulous restaurants with the year always ending with a wonderful xmas dinner out. My kids got to see Mary Poppins thanks to Joanne- memories they will always have plus their memories of the visits to Mervyn, such an adventure for them when they were younger. The entire Sheehan family made us all feel so welcome. I also have some great memories of bumping into Joanne in the sea at Sandycove. The last time I spoke to Joanne was at the xmas dinner last December in Blackrock- every time I pass I think of it as Joanne say me racing in on my bike and was laughing through the window with Brian H. A great fun filled night was had by all. Joanne, you will always be in our thoughts and memories and I will be forever grateful for your guidance, friendship, kindness and support over the years. Rest in peace and keep a good eye on us all from above. Sarah, Conall, Siun, Adamair, Raghnaid and our dog Mervyn. xx

There are rare people who come into our lives and make a lasting impression, on our minds and hearts. Joanne was always there to listen and talk to, with such support and care for all that she met, especially in a time of need. I am fortunate to have met you. Wishing all her family and friends strength and peace.
Our condolences to John, and all of her family and friends, on the recent loss of Joanne.

We are very sorry to hear the sad news of Joanne's passing. She was a remarkable individual. Our sincere condolences to her extended family.
We both practised as solicitors beside Joanne’s office for many years. During that time we got to know her well through almost daily contact. She was a very fine person, helpful, polite and a listening ear. She did great work for her clients and she was always calm and unflappable. She always went out of her way to be helpful and especially for the less fortunate in our society.
She was taken away from us far too young and may her gentle soul rest in peace.

Dear Mary Rose,
I am so sad to hear of Joanne's passing. I was lucky enough to be on the "top deck" of 11 Anglesea Street for a number of years and a beneficiary of warmth, kindness and sage advice from both of you.
Joanne was a role model- a lady of the highest integrity, who did the best for her clients, a wonderful colleague and despite the long hours in the office, had a rich and varied social life.
You and your family will miss her terribly but I hope your happy memories of her will help you through these dark times.

Not knowing that Joanne had been unwell news of her death came as a shock. Joanne's warm personality, her inclusive nature, her charming smile and her unselfish disposition were the hallmarks of a unique person. Joanne gracefully, but unknowlingly, brought these special qualities, and more, to her proffesional work in which she served both her clients and colleaugues to a standard that was unique. I bid farewell to a very special person whom I was fortunate to know.
A bright light has left us with Joanne’s sad passing.
From Joanne’s contribution to the Sacred Heart Past Pupils Union to her involvement with sailing in Dublin Bay, Joanne was always welcoming, inclusive, friendly and full of kindness. A great loss to this world. RIP

So sad to hear of the loss of Joanne. She was always good fun and so welcoming. RIP
I am shocked and saddened this morning to read of Joanne’s untimely and unexpected death. A kind and caring person who’s caring and professional advice epitomised the very best of her profession as a Solicitor. Joanne was a giver-never a taker. Joanne’s loyalty and advice to her clients reflected her professionalism and the respect she was held in by her colleagues in equal measure.
She will be remembered with a smile and equally sadly missed by many.
Sincere condolences to you, her family and close friends. May she rest in peace - On second thoughts she won’t rest but will continue to work and pray with the Angels.
