Dear Declan,Kevin, Michael ,Sinead and Roisin ,and Lesley and Rocky, I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Jo's passing, I find it hard to talk about her in the past tense .Having been in school with Jo ,and more lately met up with her at school reunions, I can only imagine the huge void her loss has left in your hearts. She was one in a million ,always had a smile on her face, and had such generosity of spirit and warmth towards everyone . I found her funeral Mass so deeply moving- all the beautiful tributes , and acknowledgements and heartwarming memories that will hopefully help to sustain you all . I am thinking of her brother John too who must have felt particularly lonely when he couldn't be with you all in person .My thoughts are with you, Jo will be sorely missed by all who knew her, R.I.P.

Sending condolence to a the Wylde family.. how shocking it is to be writing this...I met Joanne through St Joseph in crincken every week we did a bit of tennis with the residents. We all had so much from our few hours together. Followed by a cuppa in the clubhouse in Shankill..All credit due to Joanne for welcoming warmth and enthusiastic personality. She was definitely one in a million.

Declan and family and to the extended O'Halloran and Wylde famalies my sincere sympathy.
I met Joanne, albeit briefly, at a graduation ceremony in Trinity in late 2019 and we immediately re-connected the strong links which tie the Colls to the O'Halloran and Wylde famalies.

Dear Declan, Kevin, Michael, Roisin and Sinead,

I was delighted to be able to participate online in the beautiful ceremony for Joanne. There were many fitting and deserved tributes to her. I got to know Joanne well during her period as Manager of Sports in Trinity. All of us who were in contact with her while in Trinity and afterwards in Loughlinstown realised that she was a very special person indeed. Absolutely dedicated to her work and to helping young and old. Your appreciation of her and your love was obvious in all your lovely comments at the Mass. And anytime I met her she always updated me about Declan and the children and obviously loved you all. And she rarely omitted a quiet boast about you all! Why not.
My warmest regards to you all.

So saddened to hear of Joanne's premature passing, R.I.P. Sincere sympathies to Declan, Sinéad, Kevin, Michael, Róisín, Lesley et al. It was thanks to Joanne's organisation, 'taxi service' and input that Sinéad, Joanna & team played in the Leinster [Schools'] Tennis League in their Transition Year; and thanks to coaching from Lesley, they won the final, against the many odds and obstacles.. a huge feat. Joanne will be missed by all of us who were fortunate to have known her - condolences and 'penny' candles..

To all of the extended Wilde and O’Halloran families. We are saddened to hear that Joanne’s battle has come to an end but bursting with pride to read the comments that people left about her and the impact and leadership shown in her community. She must have left amazing memories as a wife/mum and sister so we wish that u all cherish them and keep that spirit alive. We know it doesn’t make it any easier in losing her but every one of u carry a little of her and there her impact in life really lies. We look forward to seeing you all back in Donegal. All our love
