I was shocked to hear the news of the passing of Jody. I knew him and his beautiful wife Melissa when we worked together in the Golden Disc many years ago. They were dedicated to one another and my heart goes out to Melissa and their three wonderful children. Rest in Peace Jody, you will never be forgotten.

Jody, you were a real gentleman and I enjoyed the short time I was lucky enough to get to know you. I'm glad I had the chance to meet your lovely wife, daughter and one of your sons. May you rest in peace, you deserve it.

His smile and glimmer in the eye acted as an invitation to catch up and have a laugh no matter how long you'd last seen each other. A rich soul whose qualities are so clearly alive with you all. Words cannot express how sorry I am. Jody was such a bright soul just like his whole family. I have really fond memories of going over to Charlottes house during our Secondary School days. We are so sorry to hear of Jody’s passing. We read the beautiful words written about him in the local paper, and it was clear how deeply he was loved by his family, his community, and how wonderfully creative he was. It was a tribute to a life lived with appreciation and contentment.
I have a fond memory of listening to Jody — with Melissa right by his side — giving a loving speech for Simon and Eleanor in the garden on their wedding day. He was so happy, so full of joy, and so proud. It is a memory that deserves to be held close and carried forward in family lore.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his strong appreciation for life continue to inspire us all.
