Ah I was shocked and saddened when I heard on Sunday morning that my ould friend Joe had passed away.
Yvonne,Shannon,and Martina I'm so sorry that Joe has passed away.
As you know I worked with Joe for about 3 years in Tullaghan.
Both of us used to have great chats.
Although in saying that we still done our work.
When Joe was chatting to me we would discuss anything from A to Z
These last few days I was thinking about those chats.
Of course Joe brought a bit of humour into some of them.
Joe hadn't a bad word about anyone.
I remember when there were funerals in Tullaghan Joe always said he would not work the morning of a funeral.
He did not give two hoots what the consequences of this would be for his job.
He always said paying my respects was much more important than work.
I'll miss Joe but Yvonne,Shannon and Martina Joe's passing has created a massive vacuum in your lives.
I hope you all get the strength from our Lord in these terribly sad days and in the future.
I couldn't attend Joe's funeral as these times I'm not living in the area
Although Joe is gone he will never be forgotten.
May he rest in eternal peace.

Dear Yvonne Shannon and all the extended Bredin family it was with great sadness I read of the passing of Joe. We were great friends back in the late 70s when we were both in college in Sligo. He was a lovely guy always looking out for everyone.May he rest in peace. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
