The news of Joe's death today awakened a myriad of memories of a favored first cousin . Although I haven't been home to Dublin for many years, my fondest memory is that of visiting the Brewer home in Clontarf when we were all very much younger , and so much excitement and laughter would fill the home, I recall with deep fondness the four boys Joe, Liam, Peter and Shane literally pelting me with questions about American basketball ! Joe was always in gentle command giving equal time to his younger brothers . Ever a gentleman, Joe was forever held in deep esteem by his parents and his brothers, and all relatives in the Briody and Brewer families.
i send you Teresa and family, my heartfelt sympathy at this time of sorrow for you. 'i hold you all in prayer and affection and loving memories of a true human being, Joe Brewer, May he know Peace.

God willing, i will be able to get the Mass on Saturday.

What a wonderful Man. Fond childhood memories of him staying with my grandmother Margaret when i was a little boy. And Mary and I visited Dublin in 2012. The Brewers and Kelly's made sure we saw everyone in our Family. Our love and condolences to The Brewers.

The Brewers were my next door neighbours for over 20 years and my memories of Joe was his passion for the GAA & Naomh Barrog and of course his love for his car ( I think it was a brown Datsun) which was probably the oldest car on Froxfield Grove for many years but that didnt matter to Joe as he boasted the older the car the longer it will go.
