I had the pleasure of getting to know you Joe, through Andy Neary - you were / are a total gentleman. Rest in peace
It is with a very heavy heart that we must say our final farewell to our former colleague and friend, Joe.
Joe was a much loved, respected and valued member of our DCC community and we are deeply saddened at his passing. When we think of Joe we think of an absolute gentleman who was vibrant, competent, committed, loyal, creative and talented. We will always remember Joe for his dedication, determination and mischievous nature. Joe was an integral part of our school who knew every nut and bolt of the fabric of our school building.
On behalf of our entire school community, our students, our staff, both past and present and our Board of Management we wish Marian, Darren, Trudy and the Carberry family our deepest sympathies at this sad and difficult time.

Dear Marian, Darren and Trudy, I am so sorry for your loss of your wonderful husband and dad Joe , I have fond memories playing soccer with Joe for Dunshaughlin Dynamos and Dunshaughlin Rebels many years ago, some of the stuff he got away with on the pitch you wouldn’t believe, I will never forget those days and the after match drinks too long into the night! He was such a lovely man and will be sorely missed, take comfort in the knowledge that he was so loved by everyone who knew him and that he and Niall are together again and watching over you.
