Words cannot express how profoundly saddened I was to learn of Joe’s passing from this earthly life. My heart breaks for his beloved siblings Seamus, Mary, and Dolores with their respective families, extended family, friends, colleagues and clients.
I am here to listen to any cherished memory you may wish to share about Joe Seosamh.
Your brother, cousin, uncle Joe was truly a beautiful soul who carried a spark of the Divine in his heart and graced this world with kindness and deep respect for others. These qualities shone through in the commanding presence of a classy gentleman with smiling Irish eyes.
There was great depth to Joe. He had zest for life and was fun-loving, witty and intelligent man.
He loved and was loved.
Joe immersed himself in work. He developed buildings that are a local landmark in the heart of the Bloor West Village in Toronto.
The essence of Joe is well captured in the words of an American poet Maya Angelou “people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you make them feel.”
Also, Polish priest and poet Father Jan Twardowski wrote timeless wisdom: "Let us hurry to love people; they leave so quickly.”
May Joe’s gentle soul rest in eternal peace and may fond memories of him be a blessing to all.
May the road rise to meet him, and
May God hold him in the palm of His hand.
