Joe Coffey

We extend our sincere sympathy to all the Coffey Family, and especially to Sharon, John, Colin & Joe. We have fond memories of the times in Kilkee when Joe would call to visit us, and the ritualistic offering the choice of: “Tea or Coffee?“ would follow. Then, with his customary smile, your Dad Joe would reply: “Coffee for Coffey!” These are difficult times and the experience of grief with the restrictions imposed due to the Pandemic means the reality is beyond comparison with anytime in living memory. We just hope that all of you have a sense of the outpouring of support and love there is for you in your bereavement. Take care and go gently as the loss of your Dad Joe settles in your hearts. Very sorry for your loss.. we met your Dad on the Ennis Road last year & he stopped us - we ended up chatting to him for nearly two hours.. we had the most lovely chat with him.. he was talking non stop about his wife, children & Gran-children, he said he just got tickets that were very difficult to get 4 a GAA match & how much he was looking forward to telling his grandson... we then heard all about Irish cement & the environment & his concerns around this.. & his experiences there.. he was so lovely, absolutely smashing & it was lovely to have met him. A lovely, lovely man.. who treasured you all..
