Sincere sympathy to you Margaret, Gerard, Bryan and all the members of the Dolan and McGee families. Joe lived a life of such incredible purpose. The way he cared for his family and worked for his community was a testament to the man he was. Everyone will remember him for that spark he had whenever people talked sport to him and especially his unwavering love for the GAA and his beloved Sarsfields GAA Club. He brought that same loyalty he especially had for Sarsfields to everything he did in life; he was someone you could always count on. The terraces around all Galway GAA grounds won’t feel the same without him. They say nobody gets past St. Peter easily, but I am sure St. Peter will let Joe straight in knowing better than to pick a fight he can’t win! The community has surely lost a great man and a great supporter. Rest peacefully now Joe in your eternal home with all your loved ones gone ahead of you.
