There are simply no words to express the profound shock at hearing of your loss. I only met Joe recently during our Masters, but he made such an impression — funny, charming, dedicated and deeply committed. I can only imagine what an incredible father and husband he was and the inspiring role model he must have been to the nurses who worked alongside him. He will be greatly missed, thinking of you all at this heartbreaking time. May he rest in peace
Sincere condolences to all of Joe's family at this sad and difficult time. Such a tragedy to have died so young. He was so friendly, kind and considerate and always in such good humour. He will be sorely missed by all.
Heartfelt condolences to Helen and all of Joes family and friends, Joe was such a lovely man, may he rest in peace.
I wish to offer my deepest condolences to Joe's wife Helen, his 3 young children & all his extended relatives and friends.

I only spoke to Joe in MRHP a couple of weeks ago. I worked with Joe in MRHT A&E for about 3 years. Joe was always in good form, good craic and always giddy. His positive energy would always fill the space he was in. I cannot believe this news.

To Helen & your precious children, I hope all your happy memories with your husband & Dad can carry you through the most difficult times ahead. I have no doubt Joe will guide you all from above.

Our loss is heavens gain. Joe, may your Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
I am so sorry to hear Joe has passed and my deepest and sincerest condolences go to Joe’s beloved wife and children, his siblings, friends, colleagues in A&E and all who knew and loved him. His tragic loss is simply immeasurable. A real character, extremely funny, a hard worker, he always did his best for his patients and colleagues, I never knew him to be in bad form, just a lovely lovely fella. MRHP won’t be the same without him.
