It was with great sadness that we heard of Joe's death. We knew Joe, and his family, from Cloontuskert, and later, from his days in Portmarnock. He was a real gentleman and will be sadly missed by all who knew him, and particularly by his dear children and grandchildren. May Joe rest in peace. Cecilia & Ambrose, Portmarnock.

I have just been told about Joe and am so sorry to hear the sad news . I had the pleasure of working with him for many years when he drove for us at Morton’s Coaches . He was always so pleasant and easy and was very well liked by all . My thoughts are with the family at this sad time .

To Joe, I have known you all but the first 4 years of my life! I always loved your joking ways with us when we were kids and how that really never changed as we got older.
