I had the pleasure of playing golf with Joe numerous times & being reminded by him & his Sons about who won the '96 All-Ireland. It was a pleasure to have met & to have been in his company. An avid filmmaker and a cornerstone of our community, Joe was instrumental in establishing the Gorey School of Art and a devoted advocate for the Gorey Arts Centre legacy.
