I'm very sorry to hear of Joe's sad passing. I only heard the news yesterday. I knew him in the LGPSU and IMPACT. He was a lovely man, a gentleman. My deepest sympathy and condolence to all his family. May Joe rest in peace

Please accept our condolences at Joe's passing. The years I had worked for Joe were an inspiration because of his firm, honest friendly way of surmounting difficulties. He brought his prior experience in the catering world to the Beaumont Hospital Catering department, which he managed until his retirement. Joe Heffernan was a leader and a gentleman. May he rest in peace.
