My Sympathies to Joe's Family on his untimely death. Joe was a great Skalleague and was always engaging and fun. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to learn of Joe’s passing. He was a great colleague, even though we worked on opposite sides of the Atlantic. I’m happy that he enjoyed some years of well-earned retirement to appreciate his extended family and some international travels.

To Mary and family, I am finding it hard to come to terms with the reality that I will never see my good friend and colleague Joe again. We grew up together in CIE Tours in the early seventies. Did not always see eye to eye. That never got in the way of our friendship or working reationship. Not to mention the golf! Joe a true gentleman and professional will be sadly missed.

Joe and i joined CIE TOURS in the early 1970's . We worked together for almost 20 years. I was shocked to hear of his untimely passing. He was a great colleague and a true gentleman. My sincere condolence to his loving wife Mary and her children.

We heard the very sad news as we transited through Singapore on our way back to Sydney. We are so grateful we were able to spend valuable time with Mary & Joe during our recent trip to Dublin. Joe was in good form and still the same great human being with the sharp brain and wit, despite not being in the best of health. Even though he was a Keena in name, he was also a very much loved member of our extended (Ryan) family. We’ll miss all the wonderful photos and news he sent on a regular basis to keep us in the loop about the latest family news…especially about the achievements of his five adored granddaughters. Mary, Michelle, Natasha, Stephen, Lisa, Liam, Lauren, Leah, Chloe, Amy, Nicole and the extended Ryan family…though we’re far away, we want you all to know you are in our thoughts at this very sad time as you share all the wonderful memories of Joe.
