Into the pub when I was a wee girl he was always so lovely to me, he is a great friend of my dad’s and they went to school together, we always had a chat when I seen him and I’d give him a big hug. I only had the pleasure of knowing Joe a couple of months since moving in next door to him, but in that time he has been so warm and friendly and helpful. Only heard of joe,s passing on monday and could not believe what i was hearing, Joe was a very witty ,knowledgable and funny person at times ,I always looked forward to meetng him when we arranged to go up to alfie hales and kervicks on the hill where joe always had some great old stories to tell .I still cant believe that he is now gone as i was only with him last week up with his daughter .Condolences to all joe,s family and great circle of friend,s he will be greatly missed by everybody that had the pleasure of meeting him R I P old friend .
