Joe was an absolute gentleman and an outstanding officer. We are all much the poorer for his passing. May he rest in peace.

I had the great pleasure of working alongside Joe in Monaghan Citizens Information Office for many years. He was a wonderful colleague and an excellent mentor who taught me so much. His contribution to the service was exemplary and he was Treasurer on the Board of Management for many years a role which he undertook with professionalism.
