So sorry to hear of Joes passing. He was always so kind to everyone…especially when I was such a novice at bridge. Thinking of you Margaret & family.

Dear Margaret and family,
We have never met, but I had the privilege of spending a wonderful day with Joe back in 2014. We became acquainted through stamps on the internet. When I was home for a visit he took the train to Dublin to meet me. It was a glorious July day. We wandered through the GPO and the city center, eventually ending up in Slattery's on Capel St., for a couple of pints.
As you know, Joe was a wonderful man. Work diverted me away from the stamps for the past several years and it was only recently, and too late that I tried to contact him again.
I am sorry for your loss and the loss of Joe from the philately community.
