As an association we were saddened to hear about the sad passing of our President Joe. Joe was an extremely talented ploughman and judge. He was the first person in Monaghan to win an All-Ireland with a tractor and plough in 1977. He was a great committee member holding various offices within the association. The association was richer for his contributions. He was always the first to congratulate any successes within the county. Deepest sympathy to the Mc Connon family.
