It was with great sadness we heard of the sad passing of Joe . Unfortunately the funeral was over other than that we would have attended. We have great memories of Joe when he lived in our Aunt Nancy O Reilly's Loughbawn hotel for many years in Killeshandra in the seventies.He was an absolute gentleman even though there was nine of us in it he had loads of time for all of us He taught my younger brothers to drive out in Killykeen forest.When he started staying with Nancy he had a Mini Minor then a Ford Escort and by the time he left a Ford Capri.He was a very intelligent man with great vision yet never lost the common touch.Our deepest condolences to you all.

Joe & myself worked together in the diary industry in 1980&90 & travelled extensively together selling dairy products. Joe was very technical but had his customers literally eating out of his hand , he was convincing & correct .
We visited the Canary Islands on a regular basis where he was treated like royalty . He was a font of information & just a great fellow . He will be sadly missed , may he rest in Peace.
