Joe Mulcahy

So sorry to hear of the death of Joe Mulcahy. The Mulcahy orchestra were regulars in the old Television Club, Harcourt St Dublin in the early 1970s and i very seldom missed their dance. I still play their LP regularly - it would be great if some organisation could convert it into a CD. So sad an occasion but what wonderful memories.

Dear Anne, Joe Jnr, Ken and Martin, my deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Joe. We have many happy memories of our time in Ballybunion every summer. I remember Joe and Anne taking my Mam to Listowel Hospital for JJ to be born. God bless you all in your time of sorry.

My late wife and I had our first date dancing to the Maurice Mulcahy Orchestra in the Central Ballroom In Ballybunion in May 1968. It was also the first of many occasions that I heard this fabulous band. Thanks for the memories Joe. May your soul Rest In Peace.
