He enshrined such a great caring attitude, knowledge and wisdom in us all that I have carried forward in my career to this day. May his gentle soul now Rest In Peace.

I first met Joe in Portrane ,Co. Dublin when we were nursing there.

Marie. so very sad to hear of joes passing and so sorry we cannot share our sorrow with you in person. Joe was very influential in my career and I have found memories as we sat alongside each other on our bus trip to our prelim orals in Portiuncala. May he rest in peace.

I have good memories of working with Joe when I was doing Nurse Teaching Practice in Sligo and afterwards working as a Nurse Tutor in the Nursing School, UHG.
