I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. What a truly lovely man he was and I remember how welcoming he and your mum always were when I visited. I remember how your father used to joke with us and one particular memory of how he would stir his tea and then tip the hot spoon to the back of our hands for a bit of fun. And another memory of him calming us with stories and chat on a stormy night when there was scary lightning outside. I’m sure he will be greatly missed by you all and so I wish to extend my condolences to you Noreen and also to your mum and to Margaret and Michael. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Joe's death.. Going back a few years now, but with Bandon Scouts, we camped on Joe's land, on 3 separate occasions.
Joe was a gentleman. Many Bandon scouts remember with fondness the camps they enjoyed in Riverside.
