I am very sad to hear of Joe's passing, my thoughts are with you.

So sad to hear about joe,a passing. He will be sadly missed especially in Clara market where he attended every Sunday morning without fail. He was the life of all us traders over in Clara and took the time to talk to us all. Sleep well joe we will remember you so well. Pat.

Was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Joe (Baldy) have wonderful memories of Baldy and the shop.Deepest sympathy to his parents Esther and Jim,sisters Mary and Ann ,nephews niece and friends a true gentleman who will be missed by all who knew him Rip Baldy xx

Am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Joe. Have great memories of Joe (Baldie) as a child going into the shop on the square with a few pence for sweets and Joe always had great patience as I tried to decide what sweets I wanted. So sorry to hear of the sad passing of Joe. He was such fun when I went into his shop. I always came out with a smile on my face. Rest in peace Joe.

So saddened to hear of Joe's sudden death. Condolences to all the family. Joe will always be a big part of my childhood memories.....going up to the shop to spend 10p and taking 20 minutes to decide what penny sweets to get! Joe never rushed or got cranky.....rest in peace Joe.
