So dreadfully sorry to hear about Joe. My deepest sympathy Mary on your sad loss. I have fond memories of Joe as a very fine golfer and as captain of his beloved Murvagh G.C. I was privileged to enjoy the welcome and hospitality both you and Joe gave , any time we visited Donegal. Great memories. May he rest in peace . R.I.P.

Dear Mary,

Sharon and I were desperately sad to hear of the passing of Joe. We are both grateful that we got to call in to you both in August 2020 whilst passing through.

I have fond memories of my times as a child in Mountcharles during the summers, even though the basement scared the little young me.

Sharon and I were unable to attend the funeral as we were getting married that day, but we did raise a glass to Joe.

Take care of yourself and if you need anything, just let us know.

I am very sorry to hear of the sad passing of Joe. He was a great friend to my late parents Liam and Margaret Hayden and, although unfortunately I never got to know him myself, I feel as if I did.
