I have to say, Joe was one of the nicest guy you could ever meet and one of the funniest ones at that And there was one thing I loved about Joe he treated everyone the same it didn’t matter who you were and that was one thing I always admired about Joe he was one of a kind

Very sad to hear of Joes passing, Joe gave so much to the community in Ballymun, Joe played for many years with Ballymun United FC and later became a committee member, we travelled all over not just Dublin but Ireland playing and supporting the club and we loved his jokes, tricks and banter always the life and soul of the after match festivities, a legend in the club condolences to all the Wynne family at this sad time from all at Ballymun United FC

Deepest condolences to Betty and the Wynne family. We had the privilege of being able to spend time in Joe’s company many times, and he was always the life and soul of the party. Joe was a real people’s person, and was loved and respected by customers and colleagues alike during his working life.
We’ll miss the Tommy Cooper style one liners!, RIP Joe - No doubt you’ll keep them laughing in heaven.
So sad to hear of Joe's passing. I played for Joe in Dolly's on Keyboards in the 'old days' and again in the Shamrock of late and Joe was always cheerful, with a joke and a laugh, and very nice to me. R.I.P. Joe.

To Hughie and family I was so sad to hear of Joe passing I have some lovely memories of him as part of the Ballymun community in his shop in the first shopping center here he always had a smile for everyone an so kind an patient with the kids with there pennies for their bag of sweet's on the way to school in the morning.. So sorry Betty for the loss of your husband Joe.He will be sadly missed. He was a gas character. The first time I met you and Betty was in the shop in Ballymun you always gave us a good laugh but you were also good at selling. Then you got Dolly's I went there every Sunday with Mam Dad and my kids great times. You always loved a good laugh then years ago I met up with you and Betty in Lanzarote it brought back loads of memories to me it was always lovely to see you. You have met up with Billy and Nicky so the parties have began God bless till we meet again Joe you were always a lovely talkative guy so St. Peter will let you in with open arms 🙏🙏❤️❤️

Saddened to hear of Joes passing | Fantastic memories of Joe when I was growing up. The shop in Ballymun Shopping Centre, Dollys Lounge, Playing football for teams my Father also played for including the famous Baggot United. Great memories of Joes wit and humour.
