I only got to know Joey in recent months and was really sad to hear of his death. Joey took great joy in sharing stories about family particularly his grandchildren, I loved the one about Teagan and himself going on a 'spree' in recent months in the Pavilions! The joy in the laughter that gave him, plus he gloried in showing everyone the easter egg hunt video on Easter Sunday with Teagan and Sénan tracking down the chocolate! He loved you all very dearly. I got to know Joe visiting the Intreo in Swords for work over many years. An extremely nice man, was very kind, welcoming and helpful. An absolute gentleman and very good artist too judging by the drawings around his desk! Will miss chatting with Joe and will always remember him smiling. Rest in Peace Joe. My sincerest condolences to the Ryan family.
