My condolences to Sara and all the Linton family on the passing of your father. He was very kind to me when he came to treat an injured yearling many, many years ago. At the time he had retired and the nearest vet was in Galway. I was very grateful for his kindness.

I was a steward in the main arena pocket in the RDS for many years and took part in many a debate as to whether it was tea or coffee in the pot! There were also some great stories about cats i recall. I enjoyed his sense of humour and will always remember him. May he rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear of Adair's passing. My deepest sympathies to his dear family.

I have very fond memories of Adair working with us during the RDS Spring & Horse Shows when I worked there. He would walk in with his famous hat, pipe and veterinary bag and we knew we could properly start preparations for receiving the animals.

We connected very quickly when we discovered the West of Ireland connections - my mother being from Clifden. I always loved having the chats with him and found him to be a very patient and gentle man.

I have never forgotten about him after all these years and only enquired about him on a recent visit West.

The memorial photo of your father is always how I'll remember him. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and going forward.
