I worked in Athy Library for a couple years and John was always a ray of sunshine during his regular visits to the building - everyone knew him and he always brought a smile to my face. Alice, Emmanuel, Sam, Ann, Kola and Andrew, you have been in out thoughts all week. The bright and cheerful holler of Johns voice coming into the Kare centre will be missed dearly and all around the town of Athy. He took the time to say hello so sincerely to each and every one of us every morning, we will miss his kind and funny ways, his generosity and the craic he brought to all of our days and the sound of his powerful drum beats coming from the shed.
