We only heard the news today about John passing away. So sorry to hear this. John was a gentleman we knew him from the Colcut & being the lollipop Man in palmerstown. Thinking of all his family & friends. R.I.P John.

We were shocked when we heard that John has passed away. We knew him from going to school and used to have little chats while waiting to cross. He was always so friendly and cheerful. Still can't believe he is gone. Our condolences go to the family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.

Saddened to learn today of the passing of Mr Bailey. Didn't know him at all only knew him from school runs and his work keeping school children safe going to and from school in Palmerstown.

Always polite always said hello to everyone and a big hit with all the kids.

My niece used to give him a box of chocolates at Christmas as a Thank You the last few years.

The thoughts of our family are with Mr Bailey's wife, children and extended family at this sad time.

When I say my grandchildren are heartbroken .they were excited giving John his Christmas card and gift.not knowing it was the last time we would have john to greet us and his big smile we broke the news to them yesterday I was not prepared of the heartbreak they felt my heart was broken for them he was so kind to them as my Grandson Harley said who will give me my high-five now it was the little things that made John so special. I will miss my little chats and my husband will as well .may you beautiful soul R.I.P. John you will be saddle missed and never forgotten especially from my grandchildren summer and Harley heart broken x
