Our sincere sympathies to the Barry Family relatives and friends of John. So unexpected out of the blue I learned of this. Some years ago realised that he knew my dad Sheamus Jim Walsh Big Jim in Gallagher s tobac in Tallaght and had good conversations together about Dad. Always a good smile and greeting when he met you. Never met him in Ahern's when we had drinks with our friends Brendan - ex Gallagher also- and Marie from Old Bawn although we were many times there as he liked to go in the back.

So sad for your loss. We had a lovely game of golf with John on Friday before he passed lovely company and good fun
