Ailbhe and Sam please accept our sincere condolences at this sad time.
John was a great guy with many interests but #1 was his family.
He cared about social injustice and loved to help people. He had a good sense of humor. the last thing he said to me was "I have those tomatoes counted." and we both laughed at our old joke. Whether it was gardening or personal advice he was always worth listening to. He was a pal to our family and is sadly missed.
