Sincere sympathies to Concepta and all of the Mcdonagh and O' Gara family and extended families on the passing of John Bertie, I have fond memories of John B from an early age he was the only man locally who had a tractor and equipment strong enough to do the work for farmers drainage, reclaimation, ploughing ,mowing , milk runs ,drawing in the hay etc, he was always more than willing to bring the young lad who was watching with excitement for a spin on the tractor that had a passenger seat,I remember John B bringing me for spins to the creamery on his Zetor and treating me on the way home with a stop to the shop , A hardworking man all his life , Rest easy John B 🙏
