So so sad to see that john as passed we was a really good friend,I will cherish the good times I spent with him on the ferries throughout our times together,he was a true gentleman so kind & thoughtful,my sncere condolences to all his family,he will not be fogotten.RIP John.

My condolence so sad to hear of your lost

John was my uncle/god father. He always came across as kind and thoughtful in my interactions with him.

A man of a few words but when visiting my nana's house he would always be coming in and out with the shop for her and any odd erins she needed doing.

As a child running up and down the stairs in nana's going up to the attic to Dereks room to watch a film I would pass through John's room and he'd be relaxing on his couch and would always say hello.

Not one to forget the various events, slipping me some money on my communion and confirmation. A lovely man and sadly missed.

Jesus, the news shook me.

John was one of the kindest and thoughtful people i knew. He had a warm nature and a caring soul.
I knew him all my life and I will always remember the great times he spent with my family

Video evenings, Christmas, colognes from the ship, his funny photoshopping, or just laughing at the nonsense of daily life and the people in it (we did that a lot!)

To his family, please accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences. John was a lifelong friend and i will treasure and remember the memories.

Lovely memories of John in VHI in the early 70s. Still see him swinging down Lr Abbey St in his impeccable outfits with long hair swishing. I was in my first job up from the country and he was so kind. His name leapt out at me from RIP. Farewell John.
