My heart goes out to you all on the death of your Dad. We lived in each other’s houses in the seventies and eighties - like a blended family - and John always made us feel so welcome and included whenever we strayed into your house. I have the fondest memories of him singing country songs with Longford pride when we travelled to horse shows in far-off places like Bonniconlon in hopeless pursuit of rosettes! He and Betty were lovely people and I am so sad for you all today. May they rest in peace.
