I would like to offer my sincere sympathies on the death of John ,about which I am saddened to read.
Anna, Francis and the extended Cave family, you have my condolences on the passing of John. Through his and the family's membership of Bray Public Library it was a privilege to have known John over many years.
I enjoyed greatly and benefited from his enthusiasm for and comprehensive knowledge of our great tenor Count John McCormack. John had a wealth of information and a wonderful collection of McCormack's recordings which he displayed and performed in Bray many times over the years.
He can now find out from John McCormack why he didn't choose to record "Dalla sua pace"!
"Tis time I was movin', tis time I passed on"
Rest in Peace, John.
Michael.
