My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to all of the O'Regan family...particularly to Chissy's beloved daughter Michelle whom I spent many years in class with in our childhood years right up through secondary school & to his son Johnny whom I know was especially close to his Dad having worked alongside one another for many years in the great Betty's Bar on Strand St.

My prayers also to Dana who always has that smile like her Dads anytime I meet her in Dunnes Stores.

You are all so like your lovely gentleman of a Dad...the Kerry wit and great unmatched sense of humour.

I recall Chissy playing darts back in the day in The Abbey Inn. Always so calm.

May he keep the cool up there in the party of paradise amongst all of the other great characters he met and entertained so brilliantly along his journey in life with his quick wit, banter and distinguised look.

Chissy O'Regan Senior was such a unique character himself who will be sadly missed in the community here big time.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Condolences to all Chizzy’s family and friends. From when we first met in the Abbey Inn during the Clutch days, to our adventures as Postmen for the Christmas rush!!!, to taking Rory out of the wheelchair to pull a pint for his dad, possibly the best pint I ever had, our lives have been so intertwined. Rory and I went to visit Chizzy three weeks ago, he had that big smile as always, I guess whenever I think of Chizzy, I’ll smile also, remembering wonderful times. Rest easy my friend
