I am so saddened to hear of the passing of your lovely Dad.
The first time Edel introduced us to him in New York he was so incredibly kind to us. He showed us all the sights. We didn’t have to que anywhere as once the security staff saw him coming they would lift the barrier and let him pass! Such was the notoriety and respect held for him.

Also when I came to the bar in the summer of 2001 John, Shaun and Gareth treated me like family.

The love and respect for John from the staff and customers was evident.

May He rest in eternal Peace.

John was gentleman, a loyal customer during his many visits home, and a terrific ambassador for Cavan , never missing an opportunity to promote the county.
I have no doubt John will be sadly missed by many, may he Rest In Peace.
