To Mary, Sarah, Ger, Trevor sisters Nora, Helen and Ester. John had a considerate and gentle presence that will be sadly missed at family gatherings. He was a kind and supportive cousin and we appreciated the huge amount of work he did on family ancestry.

I remember meeting John on one occasion many years later when things weren't going particularly well for me. He took the time to give me a few words of encouragement and really lifted my spirits.
