Very sorry to learn the sad news of John's death, and we extend our condolences to Mary and the Connolly family. Great neighbours on Ardlea Road for many years, the early years on the road are especially very fondly remembered by Dad (Michael). May John rest in peace.

Just wanted to send my sincerest condolences to Mary and all the family.Anytime I met John he was always in good form usually with a bit of devilment in his eyes and great craic to be around.I remember at my sisters wedding(Muriel) he came over to me and my friends we were only 16 or so and very generously gave me a few quid to get a round of drinks for us all!(my Dad called us beer sharks!)
Also it was so great that he came down to my wedding in Dungarvan a good few years back where he was as ever in great form at the time and always had a few stories to tell.

He will be remembered very fondly by me
