I remember John as a model dairy farmer and a respected member of the local Creamery Committee. A man with a great vision who contributed greatly to the meetings and was respected by all sides. He will be sadly missed by all May he rest in peace.

Ah Kathleen, so sorry to hear this news. John was such a lovely man and great neighbour. We had so many lovely chats over the years. One evening in late summer we met him as he was leaning on the gate at the top of the lane looking out over the lake towards the Comeraghs as the sun was setting, and he asked us "Where would you get it?" paused for a moment and then said "You wouldn't get it in Killarney". So true. A beautiful man in a beautiful place. Condolences to you all.
