I was very sad to hear of John's Death, Tommy, and wish you and all his family every comfort and support at this time. Your brother was a simply marvellous person, his musicianship and his poetic use of language - and his sense of humour - unparalleled in my personal experience. I simply could never forget John.

Sincere condolences Tommy on your sad loss, also to Declan and your Dad and John's children. I remember John's mischievous smile and the twinkle in his eye. He is at peace now with your lovely Mum. RIP John.

An extremely talented musician, and a kind man. I feel honoured and blessed that our paths once met. This earth has lost a heart of gold.

Having connected up with John again when he returned from the US, we had many nights of great conversation in the Ranelagh hostelries.

He was a man of high intelligence, great humanity and a gifted musician. I was proud to call him a friend and will miss him a lot. Our condolences to his Dad, Tommy and Declan in their sad loss.
