Our deepest condolences to John’s family and friends on his passing. John was a wonderful friend to our Aunty Paddy, and in turn to us. We so enjoyed our coffee and cake with him at Avoca in recent years catching up and hearing what he was up to and we will miss him very much. Rest in peace, John.

I was very saddened to hear of John's passing. One of life's gentlemen who was always very helpful and supportive. I will remember John with great fondness. My deepest sympathy to all of John's family, may he rest in peace.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Joe and all the Cremin family on the very sad passing of John, one of the kindest, most caring friends I have ever had. I had the good fortune to meet John 35 years ago and was blessed to count him as a friend. Always positive with a great sense of humour, John was a real gentleman and anyone who met him, even briefly, was the better for the encounter.
I can’t believe I am writing about him in the past tense- it just doesn’t seem right. The pandemic stole so much, including our chance to meet up and reconnect with so many people. His planned trip to Galway to visit just wasn’t meant to be.
It is heart breaking that John is no longer with us but I am just grateful that he didn’t suffer and that thanks to his incredible and stalwart faith, he passed quietly straight to Heaven- of that I have no doubt. He has left some wonderful memories which please God will sustain us all, especially his family, in the weeks and months ahead.
