I shared so many happy rounds at Carrickmines GC with John together with lots of eagerly anticipated verbal jousting. He handled his health issues with great courage and positivity. Dear Irene (Mrs Curry!), Sonya and Michael. I’m so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I’ll always remember the Citroen collections in the driveway and John having the latest PC games back in the 80s and early 90s. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. RIP Mr Curry.

I played Hockey with John as part of the Well Wishers and a highlight was last summer when he was up front with me in the Three Rock Rovers Veterans Tournament. A true gentleman. May he rest in peace .
