John was my PE teacher when I attended Killester Tech., very fond memories of him. In fact, my 6 brothers all attended that school and every one of them would have lovely things to say of him. A great teacher and role model to many, many kids. RIP

Condolences to you all on the passing of Mr. Dalton (as he was known to me!). He was a great neighbour and I was always fascinated with how much he could grown in the back garden! Mam loved getting the cabbages and rhubarb (and other veg) from him.
Had great chats with him also about camogie/hurling over the years. We'll miss having him and Mrs Dalton next door.

I was 100 meters champion i was to run in grand final and i got to location late .John couldn't find me spink runners in time .So they went without me in race .i also thought it was 2 heats .

John didnt say anything to me my own fault. I let school early as i wasn't good at subjects only maths.

So i went to the school sports day and Johnny ask me to come back i said no at the time as i thought it be a waste of time no help with dyslexia those times.RIP 🙏🙏
