Deepest sympathy to his wife and family. I remember John as a gentle giant. I first met John and Barbara on their first evening in Whites Hotel, I had the pleasure of portering them to their accommodation. I later went on to work with John when we opened Captain Whites,always the gentleman.
May his gentle sole rest in peace.
So very sorry to hear of your loss. Today (Thurs 20th ) have only heard the terrible news.
So sad to hear of John's passing. I have fond memories of our times together in Captain White's. John was our manager and team leader when we opened Wexford's first seafood restaurant. He had a great way with people both staff and customers. Heartfelt sympathy to Barbara and family.
