I was deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. He was a brave Irish man, full of spirit and heart, and it was a privilege to have shared part of life’s journey with him. His warmth, courage, and humor left a mark that I will always remember with affection.

So sorry to hear of John’s death and also sorry that I missed his funeral mass today - I had a prior appointment I could not miss. It was lovely to meet John a good few years ago when he came to a grandparents day in Portlaw. I know Johnny and himself shared many adventures!! My sincere sympathy to his immediate family and siblings.

John's death evoked many good memories from our shared past as neighbours, in Curraghmore. The Delaney family were very special and remain so. It is almost Cremation time, and I am thinking of John and all the clan. I couldn't join everyone today and wished I could.
