Dear Teresa & family I was just really saddened to hear of John passing. He was such a beautiful soul. Always a lovely smile everyone loved to see him coming into daycare. He so enjoyed the company have a laugh & play a tune on the mouth organ. God give him the light of heaven 🙏🙏

I'm so very, very sorry to hear of John's passing. A kinder, more gentle soul you could never meet.
I remember when my daughter was only about 4 years old, her Daddy had to go to Cork for a few days on a course. We were up at the train station in the cafe waiting for him, watching every single bus pull in and seeing her little face drop when I had to tell her "No, not that bus, maybe the next 1." Out of nowhere I hear Teresa calling out my name and herself and John came over to say "Hi". Of course, straight away John seen how down my daughter was and he started trying to cheer her up. Next thing I know he has this white monkey and he's asking my daughter if she'd mind him. Don't ask me where the name came from, but the 2 of them decided to call him Magilla Gorilla and now, almost 23 years later, Magilla Gorilla is still her pride and joy.
To Teresa and the rest of John's family you have my deepest sympathies, but know that there is now an extra special angel watching over us all. Rest in Peace John
