Thank you for being such a marvellous family. Both your parents would be proud. I have very fond memories of them both ... John being the younger brother of my mum.
It is a pity "time & motion" is so unrelenting. 89 years is too short a time for people like John in respect of making this world better. Thank you, John & Rosemary, as i am sure you are both together again. You lived marvellously ... may my moral compass still be guided by your memories.

John’s commitment to and his contribution to Mount Merrion Parish in 1980’s and 1990’s and always was inspiring. Never seeking the limelight, but working away quietly and unassumingly as Parish Auditor, Chair of the then Parish Pastoral Council encouraging everyone to do their part by supporting so many initiatives that took place through his stewardship and his participation in so many aspects of Parish life. Our only possible response is ‘Thank You’!
Always such an interesting and entertaining person to be with and to talk to, you will miss him so much, but clearly you all have so many wonderful memories of happy and challenging family times together to carry you through the next few weeks and months and years.
United again with Rosemary and Stephen, John may you rest in peace.
