The Molyneux family are saddened by John's passing in Dublin. We enjoyed his warmth and humour during his visits to Sydney with Geraldine to see Kathrina and her boys, John Patrick and Pierce, where we were able to take them out on Sydney Harbour, which they both loved.
Kathrina embodies many of John's attributes, doing so much for her local community, and is the much-loved President of the Mosman Rowers Club on Sydney Harbour, playing tennis and soccer at a high level, just her her Daddy.
May he rest in peace.
— JOHN AND EVE MOLYNEUX

Dearest Kathrina- my friend, John and Gareth, and Mammy Geraldine. We always think this day won't come. The sun always rises and sets. But angels aren't manufactured and today Johnny boy has gained his wings. I will remember him as chief garden expert and keen promoter of Kathrina's sporting career journey. "Anything a man can do you can do better" was his quote.

What a man.

His love for his children was encompassing. I'll never forget the most recent visit to Sydney and his immense enthusiasm at hacking away Kathrina's entire (ugly) garden. He saw a problem and he fixed it. That trait has continue on through her.

John your cheeky smile, love for life.. will never be forgotten.

Cheers to one of the greatest.
