Sincere condolences to Mrs Drennan and the extended Drennan family to the loss of a husband, father and grandfather. When I worked at the airport I met John on my daily route, he was a thorough gentleman. He will be sadly missed. RIP.

Sincere condolences to Shirley and the extended Drennan family on the sad passing of John RIP. I first met John in 1964 when I started in ATC. He was one of the mainstays in the Airport and was hugely respected. He further enhanced his reputation when he took to the golf and enchanted us with his wonderful singing voice at many a post-game function. His golf wasn’t bad either. The choir of Angels will be surely pleased with their new arrival. At dheis lamh De go raibh a anam usail.

Like everyone who knew John, he was regarded in the highest of esteem. He was genuine, always good humoured and natures gentleman with a welcoming smile. I shared some lovely rounds of golf with him and indeed a few 'outings', where he shone. Sincerest sympathies to you all.
